Baku. 24 November. REPORT.AZ/ Tolga Özgenç, Head of Turkish Anadolu Agency Office in Baku and Murad Aliyev, Editor-in-Chief of Azerbaijan's Report News Agency have met with students of Philology and Journalism Faculty of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).
Report informs, firstly, Nargiz Javadzade, lecturer of the Azerbaijani Literature Department of the faculty for journalism specialty gave information to guests about 2nd and 4th-year students participating in the meeting, stressed that such meetings are of great importance for students.
In his speech, Tolga Özgenç spoke about the news policy of Anadolu agency, including professional code and made a comparative analysis of Turkish and Azerbaijani media. He informed about the commitments of the Turkish state agency to the society and shared his experiences about the difficult moments of professional activity in extreme conditions.
Murad Aliyev provided information about the working principle of Report News Agency. He noted recent increase in media specialization tendency and recommended future journalists to specialize in certain field. M. Aliyev spoke about basic requirements of modern media and emphasized that journalists should react more flexibly to the events on the background of information technologies and social networks, updating every day.
The meeting ended with answering questions of the students.
