Editor-in-chief to young people: 'Forget about profiting by the age of 30'

The editor-in-chief of Oxu.az website, Ulvi Safarov met with the students of Report Media School.

"Forget about profiting by the age of 30. This will not take you forward," the editor-in-chief told them, according to Report.

Speaking about the intricacies of the profession, he noted that it is important for a journalist to learn every day:

"Journalism is a way of life. Young people should have a strong passion for journalism to work in this field. In order to succeed in your career, you need to focus only on self-development."

Ulvi Safarov was born on March 8, 1991 in Baku. He studied acting at Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. His first job was at ANS TV. Later, he worked at Baku Film Academy and the Lider TV channel. He is now the editor-in-chief of Oxu.az.
