Baku. 10 July. REPORT.AZ/ Presentation of the book "The world's leading news agencies, establishment and development perspectives of Azerbaijani news agencies, International journalists movement " was held at the Journalism Faculty in the Baku State University (BSU).
Report informs, event was attended by professor-teaching staff of BSU, heads of press agencies and others.
Dean of the Journalism Faculty Vugar Aliyev said that the book will cover world and local news agencies, as well as international journalistic organizations, which unite the information resources, their creation, activity and modern era: “The book consists of 3 parts. In the first section of the book, major news agencies providing the world's news flow are described in detail. In the second part, starting from AZERTAC, the first news agency in Azerbaijanall agencies, news portals of the modern era are included, and the third part describes the international journalistic organizations.
Editor-in-chief of Report News Agency Murad Aliyev said the book systematically informs about the leading news agencies. M. Aliyev in turn, proposed submission of the online version of the book: “Journalism is not static, but dynamic sphere. It would be better if online version of this book would be available. The online version would provide a wider opportunity for students to use the book and will also create additional opportunities for regular enrichment with new information".
The book also mentions activities of the Report News Agency. It was noted that, Report News Agency is one of the independent news agencies. The agency rapidly providing its readers with the most important events in the country and the world in politics, economics, society, sports, culture and other fields in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages. The Analytics section of the site provides analytical materials about the processes in Azerbaijan and around the world. Specialized journalists are working to provide a professional and comprehensive coverage of the areas mentioned in the Agency. www.report.az offers a number of innovations to help readers get convenient access to news.
Notably, authors of the book are Head of the International Journalism Department of BSU Hamid Valiyev, Ph.D. in Political Science, teacher of the International Journalism Department Parvana Ibrahimova and teacher at the International Journalism Department Vafa Isgandarova.
