Bloomberg to suspend Russia from its terminals

Russia will suspend Russia from its terminals from April 3, a former employee of the company told RBC, Report informs.

A source in a financial market confirmed to RBC that Bloomberg verbally notified the users that the terminal was switched off, and it is yet unclear how the process will be documented legally.

Another source in the financial market confirmed a phone call from Bloomberg informing about the suspension of the terminal. He said the decision will be officially announced today, March 28, at 09:00 pm Moscow time.

The access to terminals will be blocked for several Russian banks subjected to western sanctions, Frank Media reported citing its sources.

According to it, professional participants not subjected to restrictions have not yet received notifications about the suspension of the terminals in Russia. One of the sources said that Bloomberg does not specify what will happen to the current accounts.
