Media and Broadcasting Council Chairman Ahmad Ismayilov met with a delegation led by Ferhat Pirinççi, deputy head of the Public Relations Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration, the council told Report.
During the meeting, Ismayilov emphasized the importance of existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the fields of media and communications.
The sides noted the importance of expanding the exchange of experience in this field amid the modern information environment and strengthening joint efforts to combat disinformation.
Pirinççi spoke about new opportunities created by digital transformation in the media and communications sector. He emphasized the importance of effectively using new media tools, developing modern approaches to communication, and expanding professional ties and joint initiatives between media representatives of the two countries.
The sides also exchanged views on possibilities for a coordinated approach to modern information challenges and other issues of mutual interest.
