There is a real war going on in the information sphere, Media Advisor of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan Alptekin Cihangir Isbilir said at a meeting with students of the Report Media School, Report informs.
He noted that given the wide spread of misinformation on Internet resources around the world, the task of the media is to combat it.
The advisor also touched upon Turkish-Azerbaijani relations and interaction between the media: “First of all, the media should publish verified information based on reliable facts. This is the only way to achieve success on the information front. In order to convey the voice of the Turkic world to everyone, it is necessary to work on increasing professionalism young journalists."
To do this, Isbilir advised future journalists to know geopolitics perfectly and to be devoted to their roots and homeland.
