A four-day training for journalists, organized by the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency (MEDIA) and ADA University, has ended in Baku, Report informs.
From October 10 to 13, a specialist from Al Jazeera TV shared with Azerbaijani journalists his experience in the production of television programs, preparation of reports, filming, script writing, editing and broadcasting using various tools, including mobile devices and apps.
The training was held in four main sections: the future of media, video journalism, mobile journalism and newsroom. The classes also included a practical part, during which the journalists divided into groups and created video content.
At the end of the training, all participants were given a certificate.
As the press secretary of the Media Development Agency Saida Shafiyeva noted, the training program will initiate a new trend in the media, create high-quality content, contribute to the professional development of journalists, expand theoretical knowledge based on foreign experience and implement their application in domestic media.
Mostefa Suag, Acting CEO of Al Jazeera Media Network, noted that Al Jazeera has become a real media school worldwide, and the channel's specialists are ready to share their experience with colleagues from different countries in order to contribute to their professional development.
