It is imperative to inform the public about the cases of violence, Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency (MEDIA), said at a training on "Domestic Violence in the Media".
According to him, media outlets sometimes fail to demonstrate a sensitive approach to reading the news:
"Awareness-raising on violence should be provided at a high level. We believe that twinning projects will be very successful. At the same time, we will see the experience of the global media's approach to the problem, and we will continue to use it in the future. The Media Development Agency is ready to support these events in the future since it is the primary environment for communication."
