12th group completes education program at Report Media School

Report news agency has presented certificates to the twelfth group of graduates of the Media School.

Certificates were awarded to 10 graduates who in the course of the program learned the basics of preparing news, interviews, reports, videos, photo reports, investigative journalism and other secrets of the profession of journalism, as well as conducted monitoring and polls.

Report Director Fuad Huseynaliyev spoke about the main qualities that a journalist should possess:

"A journalist should have a keen interest and ask a lot of questions. You have chosen a difficult profession, sometimes a journalist has to work not only in the daytime but also at night. Report employees are covering the protest action of environmental activists on the Khankandi-Lachin road. They work in difficult conditions, amid cold. A journalist must fulfill his professional duty under any circumstances."

The head of the school, Ismail Rafigoglu, noted that the events and meetings throughout the course of study were held at a high level.

"Participants prepared interesting reports, news about the events they attended together or separately," he said.

Report Media School started its activity in June 2018. Its goal is to train personnel for the Azerbaijani media, to familiarize those wishing to become a journalist with modern trends, and to improve practical skills. Dozens of young people have become graduates of the school so far, many of whom work in various media structures in Azerbaijan.
