"Russia is in contact with both Baku and Yerevan. We are working on consistent implementation, including in terms of settling border disputes, unblocking transport links in the South Caucasus," as Report informs, this was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova at a weekly briefing.
"It is important to lead the issue towards the creation of a bilateral commission on the delimitation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia with its subsequent demarcation with the consultative assistance of Russia at the request of the parties," added the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Zakharova stressed that Russia expects the soonest formation of national delegations of the two countries to the commission.
She noted that the parties in the framework of the tripartite working group continue to make efforts to unblock all economic and transport links in the region.
