The tripartite working group of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia continues its activities aimed at opening communications in the region, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing, Report informs.
According to her, the process plays an important role in the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan and contributes to the opening of the transit and logistics potential of the entire South Caucasus.
Zakharova noted that 12 meetings of the tripartite working group have been held since the fall of 2020: "This group has done a lot of work in the direction of assessing the current state of the regional logistics infrastructure and selecting optimal projects for railway and road communications. Thanks to this, we came close to the package solution, which is useful for all parties.”
