US expert: Refusal of food products from Azerbaijan by Armenians in Karabakh - irrational decision

The Armenians living in Karabakh refuse the food products from Azerbaijan, while continuing the rhetoric of “an acute shortage of food”, and this is an irrational decision, US journalist, national security analyst, lawyer Irina Tsukerman told Report.

“The hatred for Baku outweighs the need for food that they claim... The international community should take this into account, in particular against the backdrop of obvious propaganda campaigns,” she said.

She noted that the Armenian lobbyists in the West and all those who support them are trying by all means to undermine the prospects for the reintegration of the Armenian residents of Karabakh into Azerbaijani society. Such reintegration will ensure the equality of the Armenians living in Karabakh before the laws of Azerbaijan, along with other citizens of the country, the expert noted.

According to her, Armenians in Karabakh are unlikely to be independent in making decisions.

“They refuse any food products, except for the one that Armenia tried to deliver through the Lachin road. Obviously, the Armenians in Karabakh are under pressure from external forces, and someone else makes these decisions for them,” she added.
