US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby has inspected the restoration work in Fuzuli, the embassy wrote on X, Report informs.
“We were deeply moved seeing the extent of destruction but also the reconstruction efforts in Fuzuli. The United States has contributed more than $1.5 billion to Azerbaijan since its independence through USAID, State Department, State Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration, and many other agencies and international organizations, including more than $250 million specifically to helping IDP communities and more than $38 million in demining support. We remain committed to providing this assistance,” Ambassador Libby said.
