Turkish traveler: 'We experienced mixed feelings in Karabakh'

Yunus Ozcan, a traveler from Türkiye, having visited Azerbaijan and the Karabakh region of the country, experienced a shock from what he saw, but also rejoiced at the construction and restoration work there, Report informs.

"Baku was very impressive, a beautiful and clean city. But visiting Karabakh could not but excite, we experienced mixed feelings. The minefields here, the deadly ‘gifts’ left over the years of occupation, especially shocked us," Ozcan said.

According to him, it was very hard to see what happened there over the years, what sufferings the Azerbaijanis had to endure there. "But there are also pleasing moments, we saw the pace of restoration and construction on the liberated lands," Ozcan said, in particular, talking about what he saw in the village of Talish. A lot has already been built here, everything is very well done, he noted, adding that creative work on the liberated lands continues.

A four-day visit of world-famous travelers to Karabakh and East Zangazur began today. The group will follow the Aghdam-Tartar-Kalbajar-Lachin-Gubadli-Zangilan-Jabrail-Fuzuli-Khojavand-Shusha route for 4 days.

The trip is organized by the world-famous organization MTP (Most Traveled People).
