The delegation of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council) has visited Ganja, Azerbaijan’s second-largest city, Report informs.
The delegation is accompanied by the Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, and other officials.
The delegation of ministers and high-ranking officials earlier today visited Azerbaijan's Aghdam, liberated last fall from the Armenian occupation.
The officials paid a visit to the Imarat cemetery in Aghdam, where the graves of the Karabakh Khanate's Azerbaijani Turkic nobility, including its khans, are located.
Then they visited the Juma Mosque in the city, built in 1868-1870 by the Azerbaijani architect Karbalai Safikhan Garabaghi.
