The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has expressed its readiness to participate in the process of restoring the infrastructure in the liberated Azerbaijani territories and provide any possible assistance to this, TIKA told Report.
“Now Azerbaijan pays great attention to the restoration of Karabakh. We want to take part in this process. Regardless of the area, if the government of Azerbaijan wants our help, we are always ready to provide it," the organization said.
It was emphasized that Turkiye and Azerbaijan have excellent fraternal relations at all levels, both at the highest level between the presidents of the two countries, and between the two peoples.
"After the 44-day war, in which Azerbaijan won, we are working more intensively with fraternal Azerbaijan. For 30 years we have been actively cooperating in various fields. There is an organization AIDA (Azerbaijan International Development Agency) in Azerbaijan, with which we are in constant contact," TIKA noted.
Azerbaijan is a very rich country, and the most important thing that TIKA can offer is the exchange of experience.
"Experience is very important, it cannot be bought with money. Starting from agriculture to industry, we can share our experience with Azerbaijan," TIKA said.
At TIKA's headquarters in Ankara, the exhibition hall contains mock-ups of large-scale cultural heritage restoration projects that the organization has implemented in different countries. Among them is also a model of the Mardakan Fortress and the Tuba Shahi Mosque.
