Tase: Washington and Brussels must call upon Yerevan to refrain from using fascist military practices

The serious regional security threats emanating from the terrorist regime of Nikol Pashinyan are harming the entire European economy and definitely disturbing the fragile peace process in Southern Caucasus region, US political scientist and expert in international relations Peter Tase told Report.

"The US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III must urgently call upon Yerevan and pressure Pashinyan to stop the military aggression against Azerbaijan and sign the Peace Treaty with Baku," the expert said.

He noted that the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan are well prepared to handle and contain the Armenian threat.

Washington and Brussels must call upon Pashinyan to refrain from using fascist military practices and abide by the International Laws and EU convention of Human Rights, the expert said.

On September 12, units of the Armenian Armed Forces carried out a large-scale provocation in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border. Today, the Armenian side continued to fire at the units of the Azerbaijani army in yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement reached between the parties.
