Tase: Int’l community must denounce Armenian provocations

The international community must condemn the Armenian provocations on the state border with Azerbaijan, US political scientist and expert in international relations Peter Tase told Report.

“The Armenian regime is transgressing international norms of regional peaceful coexistence and economic progress,” he said.

“The large-scale armed provocations committed by the armed forces of Armenia are occurring at a time when Washington has lost leverage in the international stage and a multifaceted economic crisis has engulfed the American society. Today United States’ democracy standards are in serious decline and its international authority is at the worst levels,” the expert said.

Immediate actions by NATO, European Parliament, Washington and Berlin must denounce Armenian rogue regime and call for a cease fire, he added.

“I am confident that Armenian armed forces will continue with offensive provocations in the next few weeks unless Washington and Brussels become more active in the region,” he said.

On November 16, as a result of Armenian provocations on the state border, seven servicemen of the Azerbaijani army were killed, and another ten were injured.
