Vice-speaker of Turkish Parliament: Conflict should be resolved within Azerbaijan's territorial integrity

"Turkey and Azerbaijan are fraternal countries, and the development of Azerbaijan makes us very happy," Turkish Grand National Assembly's vice-speaker Süreyya Sadi Bilgiç said.

Report informs that he spoke at the founding conference on "Baku Parliamentary Platform for Dialogue and Cooperation" held in Baku.

The vice-speaker of the Assembly noted that no state can remain beyond the processes in the world: "There must be a common position to fight seriously against terrorism. Bilateral or multilateral discussions can be held in this area. Islamophobia is emerging in Europe, which gives rise to anxiety. Therefore, this issue should be avoided without intensification, I believe that Baku Parliamentary Platform will take serious measures on these or other issues."

He said that Turkey supports Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: "The conflict must be resolved within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Turkey is by Azerbaijan’s side on this issue."
