Some experts compare situation in Aghdam with Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Sarajevo

“This isn’t the first time such trips have taken place; earlier, various foreign groups have visited here several times. This time, the guests are political scientists from different countries who work in think tanks in more than 15 countries. These are people, each of whom, in their own country, sheds light on the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Therefore, such trips are important in terms of conveying the truth about the situation and realities,” Elchin Amirbayov, assistant to Azerbaijani first vice president, told reporters during the trip of representatives of international analytical centers to Aghdam district, Report informs.

“The main reason for coming here is to see the atrocities committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan and our people. The Armenians, relying on their lobbying forces, are again waging an information war against us, although they themselves committed this occupation and vandalism. Of course, from this point of view, such trips will continue, and we will show all the cities that have been subjected to their atrocities and cruelties.

"As for the city of Aghdam, we have already talked with some of them [experts], and they compare the situation in this city with Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Vukovar, Sarajevo and Dresden. They even note that in a sense they saw great destruction here. There are also former diplomats, that is, specialists interested in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus. Therefore, it is very important to convey the truth to them,” Amirbayov said.
