President: "The statement does not say a word about the status of Nagorno-Karabakh"

"You could have probably noticed that the statement does not say a word about the status of Nagorno-Karabakh. But where are the demands of the Armenian side that Nagorno-Karabakh should be given independence?"

Report informs, quoting from the televised address of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the nation.

"When I offered them autonomy, they disagreed. They said no, it is an 'independent state.' They have been living as an 'independent state' for many years and must gain independence from Azerbaijan. Not a word. So, Pashinyan, what happened? It seems that this 'what happened, Pashinyan' will remain in the language for many years. What happened to Pashinyan? You were laying a road to Jabrail. You were dancing. What happened to the status? The status has gone to hell. No status. And there won't be any status. It won't happen as long as I am President. Therefore, this document is of great importance. I am confident that the Azerbaijani people will pay close attention to this document and read it carefully. They will see what a great victory we have won."
