Posters depicting Armenian vandalism mounted on iron poles on Khankandi-Lachin road

Posters with photos depicting the nature of Azerbaijan, which was subjected to Armenian vandalism during the occupation, were demonstrated on iron poles on the Khankandi-Lachin road passing through Shusha, Report informs.

The posters on both sides of the road have captions in English, such as "Massively cut tress. Gubadly", "Raw lime mines of Zangilan", "Massive cut tress. Lachin", "Burnt area with cut" tress. Kalbajar", "District of Kalbajar, village of Heyvaly", "Gold and sulfide mines of Soyudlu (Zod). Kalbajar", "Quartz-gold mine Vejnali. Zangilan", "Lime mines of Dovlatyarli. Fuzuli."

The young volunteers closely viewed the posters containing photos of Azerbaijani territories subjected to environmental terrorism by Armenians. They discussed the destruction of forest massifs in Azerbaijani territories and the exploitation of mineral deposits during the occupation of Kalbajar, Gubadly, Zangilan, Fuzuli and Lachin by Armenians.

The posters aroused great interest in the protesters.

The protests on the Khankandi-Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan continue, Report informs.

As usual, the participants of the non-stop peaceful demonstration call the global community to protect the environment.

Despite the snowfall in Shusha, high-spirited eco-activists and young volunteers raise placards written in Azerbaijani, Russian and English. They chant slogans such as "End environmental crime!", "Stop eco terror!", "Take care of nature!" "No to ecocide! Yes to monitoring!", and sing patriotic songs.

The protesters are continuously provided with a warm place, hot drinks and food.

As it has been since the first day, there are no obstacles to free movement on the road passing through the area where the protesters gathered. The road is fully open for humanitarian purposes.

Today, a total of 25 vehicles belonging to Russian peacekeepers moved freely on the Khankandi-Lachin road.
