Lieutenant-Colonel Anar Eyvazov, an official of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, has commented on the news spread on social networks that the accuracy of the map of the minefields in the liberated Aghdam district, handed over by Armenia to Azerbaijan, ranges between 20 to 50 percent, Report informs.
Anar Eyvazov said that specialists are currently conducting a detailed analysis of the maps.
“At the same time, this work is carried out in the mined areas as well. Therefore, it is too early to say any number, to say whether the accuracy of the maps meets the standards. And we are talking not only about the map of the mined areas of Aghdam but also about the analysis of all the minefield maps we have received so far.
I would like to reiterate that the analysis results will be regularly made public,” he said.
