Seventy tons of food aid were delivered to the Armenian population of the Karabakh region via the Lachin road, Report informs, citing the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The humanitarian cargo includes 66 tons of flour, 2,700 kg of salt, 450 kg of dry yeast and 375 liters of sunflower oil.
The ICRC team also carried out the evacuation of 17 people injured during the fighting. At the same time, the search for the missing continues, and contacts are being established with their families. Given the scale of the needs, the ICRC is expanding its presence in the region with specialized staff.
