Head of department: Remains of human corpses belonging to 31 people found in Shusha since May

The remains of human corpses belonging to at least 31 people have been discovered in Shusha as a result of searches conducted since May, Emil Taghiyev, head of the Special Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor's Office, told Report.

According to the head of the department, it is likely that they belong to Azerbaijanis who were captured and held here during the First Karabakh War: "Azerbaijanis detained in prison were brutally tortured, beaten, beheaded and killed, and buried right here."
