The first Azerbaijani wedding was held in liberated Shusha

According to Report's correspondent seconded to Shusha, the celebration was organized in the Isa Bulagi complex.

The groom, 28-year-old Elmir Mammadli, is a veteran of the Patriotic War, and his parents are natives of the city of Shusha.

Mammadli told Report's correspondent that he was happy to hold a wedding in his hometown.

"May Allah protect our Supreme Commander-in-Chief. May the souls of our martyrs rest in peace. Our lands have been liberated from occupation, and today we can hold celebrations here. I am 28 years old, I am a veteran of the Second Karabakh War. My military path began in Fuzuli, I took part in the battles in the Fuzuli-Khojavand direction, where I was wounded," he said.

A total of 177 families (672 people) currently live permanently in Shusha.
