Diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan concluded their visit to the liberated territories of the country.
According to Report, over 60 diplomats, including 20 ambassadors, viewed the construction and restoration work carried out in the region during the visit.
The diplomats were accompanied by Hikmat Hajiyev, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.
The first stop of the one-day visit was the Sugovushan settlement in the Aghdara district. Diplomats and military attaches had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the restoration and reconstruction projects implemented in Sugovushan. They visited the Sugovushan recreation park and were informed that this settlement was one of the first inhabited areas liberated from occupation.
The delegation also visited key infrastructure facilities, including the Sugovushan and Sarsang reservoirs, as well as the recently commissioned Yukhari Vang HPP.
In Kalbajar district, they visited the historic Khudavang Monastery Complex. The visit concluded with an introduction to the progress of the construction of a new settlement and educational complex in Kalbajar. The diplomats were also shown the production process at the Istisu mineral water plant.
