Defense Ministry: Remnants of Armenian armed forces are still in Azerbaijan territories

According to the statement signed by the President of Azerbaijan, the President of the Russian Federation, and the Prime Minister of Armenia on November 10, 2020, the remnants of the Armenian armed forces have not been completely removed from the territories of Azerbaijan where the Russian peacekeeping forces were temporarily stationed, Report informs, citing Ministry of Defense.

"In recent days, Armenia has been violating the tripartite statement by moving its armed forces to Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers were temporarily stationed, and setting up new Armenian posts near Mukhtarkend and Shushakend, as well as in the eastern part of Kalbajar and Lachin districts.

The Azerbaijani Army is taking adequate measures, and such cases are prevented," the ministry said.
