Aziz Sancar: "Liberation of Karabakh has built self-confidence in everyone"

"The last time I visited Azerbaijan was 2017. It is impossible to compare 2017 and the current science. The reason for this is that I did not meet with scientists during my current visit," world-renowned scientist, Nobel Laureate, Professor Aziz Sancar, told a panel on "Science and education in the post-pandemic era" at the UNEC Economic Forum.

According to him, during his previous visit, only the Karabakh problem was on everyone's mind: "Karabakh has now been liberated and it has created self-confidence in everyone. Of course, this freedom is also important for scientific work. I hope this will have a positive impact on science."
