"Despite the tense situation, relative calm reigned in Tovuz direction of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border on the night of July 17. Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire at the frontline positions at timed. Our units decisively prevented the active attempt of the enemy."
The head of the Defense Ministry's Press Service, Colonel Vagif Dargahli, told Report.
He said that for provocation, the Armenian armed forces purposefully hide their firing points near or behind their civilian targets. Nevertheless, the Azerbaijani Army fired only at the enemy's military targets. The firing points of the Armenian armed forces, which deliberately targeted Azerbaijani villages, civilians, and objects, were silenced by the precise fire of our units.
"I would like to inform you that during the recent military operations, the Azerbaijani Army has used only a small part of the weapons at its disposal, controlled with high accuracy using modern information technology and destructive power in a large area. It is not all that we have.
The video footage from recent battles clearly showed how our troops accurately destroyed enemy positions, military facilities, equipment, manpower, and resources. It is an indicator of the combat capabilities, military potential, and professionalism of the Azerbaijani Army staff.
"I am confident that the high fighting spirit of our Army, combat operations at disposal and the modern weapons and equipment designed for our security will ensure our victory," Dargahli said.
