Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Bayramov briefs foreign diplomats on situation on Shusha-Khankandi road

Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has held a briefing for the diplomatic corps and military attaches accredited in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the minister informed the foreign diplomats about the current situation on the Shusha-Khankandi road.

It is already the fourth day that Azerbaijani eco-activists have been protesting on the Shusha-Khankandi road against the illegal exploitation of natural resources.

Azerbaijani activists and members of environmental NGOs demand to put an end to eco-terror in the Karabakh economic region.

As a result of the discussions held on December 3 and 7, 2022, with the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, Azerbaijani specialists from the Ministries of Economy, Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy and AzerGold CJSC were to conduct primary monitoring on illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the territory of Azerbaijan. But the monitoring failed as a result of a provocation.
