American researchers visit smart village Aghali in Zangilan district

Naval postgraduate school professor (USA) Brenda Shaffer and Hudson Institute Senior Research Fellow Michael Doran have visited the smart village of Aghali in the Zangilan region of Azerbaijan.

Report informs that the purpose of the trip is to get acquainted with the conditions created in the village.

During the trip, the guests visited the branches of Azerpost LLC and ASAN service opened here. Shaffer and Doran also got acquainted with the activities of the secondary school in Aghali, where they attended an open lesson in the first grade. They presented the books "The Fairy Tale of Kharibulbul" to schoolchildren.

The smart village of Aghali is the first settlement in Zangilan, where former Zangilani residents, those who until recently were considered forced migrants, returned, which became possible after Azerbaijan's victory in the Patriotic War.
