The restoration of the liberated Azerbaijani territories deserves gratitude and respect, former Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center Abdulaziz Altwaijri said at the international event “Reconstruction, Reconciliation and Integration: Energy, Economy, Environment and Equity” in Azerbaijan’s Shusha, Report informs.
He noted that huge differences can be observed between what was happening in Karabakh after the liberation from occupation and today’s Karabakh.
The restoration of these territories is not an easy job, he said. Thanks to President Ilham Aliyev and people inspired by this idea, everyone sees that this has happened, people have already begun to return there, he added.
He also added that he would continue to disseminate information about Karabakh, about the destruction committed during the period of occupation and about the success of the Azerbaijani government in reconstructing these territories.
