World's tallest sandcastle built in Denmark

The world's tallest sandcastle is built in Blokhus, north of Denmark, Report informs with reference to SVT TV.

The castle's height is 21.16 m, which is 3.5 m higher than the previous record set in 2019 in Germany.

The author of the new building is the famous Dutch sculptor Wilfred Stiger, who works with different materials, including sand, ice, and snow. He was assisted by 30 other sculptors from around the world.

In total, 4,860 tons of sand are used for the Danish castle. The structure has a pyramidal shape. The castle's based on a wooden frame, which was then decorated with sand.

The Guinness Book of Records has already examined the castle.
