New Zealand gymnast uses doping to complete university essay

New Zealand gymnast Batuhan Yazici received a two-year ban for using banned drugs, Report says, citing Gazeta.ru.

Mr. Yazici said that he’d taken a Ritalin pill to help him complete a university essay.

The athlete said none of the representatives of the Federation told him about the ban of Ritalin. However, the Anti-Doping Commission did not take his justification into account.
