Germany: Archaeologists uncover mysterious 1,500-year-old tomb

While preparing the ground for a poultry farm in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, the grave of an influential person who lived during the Great Migration of Peoples 1,500 years ago was discovered, Report informs, referring to Daily Mail.

Experts claim that this is the most important finding in the country for the last 40 years.

Archaeologists have found a bronze cauldron in the center of the tomb, which is believed to contain a nobleman's ashes. "We have to find his remains," said Suzanne Friedrich, an archaeologist at the Museum of Primitive Community History.

Excavators saw the skeletons of six women around the pot. Researchers say they may have had slaves or wives. But it is unclear whether women were sacrificed for the sake of the lord.
