Amazon has introduced a new autonomous security camera, Always Home Cam, on YouTube, Report says, referring to RIA Novosti.
In the main mode, the camera monitors when it sits in its dock. But if the owner wants to find out, for example, whether the gas stove in the kitchen is turned off, he turns on drone mode via a smartphone, the camera exits the docking station and flies on the route remotely.
The drone mode also includes an active alarm. In this case, the user's smartphone receives a notification, and if there is an Internet connection, the camera provides live images from space.
The new device developers emphasize that Always Home Cam is entirely safe for humans and pets in drone mode. Because frames protect the propellers, their sound is deliberately raised to warn others to approach. The surveillance camera will go on sale in 2021. It will cost $ 249.
