Saudi Arabia supports Yemen through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), applying a comprehensive and multi-level approach.
Report informs that SDRPY representative Hassan Al-Attas said this at the session "Designing Development Programs in Conflict Zones" held as part of WUF13.
According to him, the support includes assistance with salary payments, strengthening the Central Bank of Yemen, and developing the capacity of key state institutions, including the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Finance, and the Prime Minister's Office.
Al-Attas noted that one of the program's main areas is supplying Yemen with oil products.
He emphasized that the support has helped reduce the financial burden on the government and focus resources on sectors such as healthcare and education.
