US company may implement digital solutions on ASCO's ships

A meeting with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) representatives, one of the most prestigious classification societies in the world, was held at Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC (ASCO), Report informs, citing ASCO.

ASCO Chairman of the Management Board Rauf Valiyev, ABS Wavesight Business Development Vice-President Richard Pride, Professional Services Director Sakib Kasim, Head of ABS office in Azerbaijan and ABS Wavesight Business Development General Manager Guy Laureys discussed the current state of cooperation and perspectives. They exchanged ideas on implementation of various digital solutions offered by ABS Wavesight on ASCO vessels.

ABS Wavesight representatives presented their products to heads and employees of the relevant departments of ASCO.

During the presentation, it was noted that ABS Wavesight is a global company providing various innovative software such as My Digital Fleet, Nautical Systems, eLogs for fleet management, and currently up to 5,000 vessels around the world use the company's services.

The company's employees also noted that NSE software, a product of Nautical Systems, is currently successfully used on 10 ASCO vessels. This software is a centralized cloud-based business management solution that helps organizations operate more efficiently by automating key processes and providing real-time visibility of operational indicators.

At the end of the presentation, questions from ASCO employees were answered.
