U.S. to host international conference on Middle Corridor

On Monday, December 12, at 9:30 a.m. EST, the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Azerbaijan, in partnership with the Global Chamber and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States of America, will host “Middle Corridor: Connecting Economies Through Ports and Air Freight Connectivity” at the World Trade Center in Baltimore.

The event will include remarks from H.E. Khazar Ibrahim, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States, Alexander Sokolowski, USAID’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia, Reza Vaziri, Chairman of the USACC, and Asset Assavbayev, the Permanent Secretariat of Intergovernmental Commission Transport Corridor Europe—Caucasus—Asia (TRACECA). This will be followed by an “Air Cargo Session” with representatives from Silk Way West Airlines and Boeing and a “Port and FTZ Industry Session” with representatives from the Baku International Sea Trade Port and Maryland Port Authority.
