Turkish minister: Investments are planned to be made in Middle Corridor

It's planned to invest in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor), the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkiye Adil Karaismailoglu told Report.

According to him, cargo transportation through the Middle Corridor is boosting, infrastructure capacity needs to be increased to meet the growing trade volumes:

"Therefore, we hold frequent meetings so that all the countries in the corridor fulfill their duties. Currently, the Middle Corridor is working successfully, but we need to improve this potential. That is why we plan to invest in the Middle Corridor. Despite the difficulties we are experiencing both in the Caspian crossing and in Georgia, increasing the possibilities of the corridor is always on the agenda."
