Taleh Ziyadov: Five countries prepare single strategy for Middle Corridor

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Georgia and Uzbekistan have prepared a single strategy for the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route) to facilitate infrastructure and documentation, General Director of Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC Taleh Ziyadov told journalists, according to Report.

He noted that all countries understand the importance of the Middle Corridor, in particular, the countries of Central Asia are aware of the importance of having infrastructure: "Countries with infrastructure will actively work in the Middle Corridor. Countries without infrastructure will bypass the corridor. The Central Asian states and our neighbors are carrying out huge work to build the infrastructure."

Ziyadov recalled that Azerbaijan has been working on the creation of the necessary infrastructure for the past ten years, the country has a modern seaport, airports, ships: "However, we have something to work on. We have to integrate the infrastructures of neighboring states."
