Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has introduced a new digital service for cargo owners based on the single window principle, Report informs.
The implementation of the system became part of expanding cooperation on infrastructure digitalization with countries along the North-South and East-West transport corridors.
Among the key innovations is the ADY Smart platform, which allows tracking all stages of cargo transportation in real time. Now the cargo processing takes only 20 minutes thanks to the digital work permit system, eliminating the need for paper documentation.
Another important step was the introduction of a unified electronic CIM/SMGS consignment note, which simplifies international transportation, speeds up customs procedures, and reduces risks associated with border crossings.
These innovations not only improve the convenience and speed of cargo transportation but also contribute to the development of international trade and strengthening of economic ties.
