Rosaviatsia extends restriction of flights to Russia’s south until November 3

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has extended the regime of temporary flight restrictions at 11 airports in the southern and central parts of Russia, Report informs.

The ban is valid until 3:45 (GMT+3) on November 3.

Flights to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don and Elista are limited. As an alternative, it is recommended to use airports in Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.

The temporary restriction of flights was introduced on February 24 amid Russia's military operations in Ukraine. It has been renewed for the 40th time.
