Road from Azerbaijan’s East Zangazur to Nakhchivan to pass 5 km away from Armenian border

In order to create new communication links between Azerbaijan’s East Zangazur economic region and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, four bridges will be built on the Araz River, including two road bridges (with a pedestrian crossing) and two railway bridges 5 km away from the state border with Armenia, Report informs.

Iran and Azerbaijan undertook to build a checkpoint on the state border, which will provide 500 entries and 500 exits per day.
