Today Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC is hosting an event on the restoration of amelioration and irrigation systems in the liberated territories.
The Chairman of the organization Ahmad Ahmadzadeh opened the event, Report informs.
He noted that the National Army, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, has achieved a great victory. Ahmadzadeh stressed the importance of the liberated lands in increasing Azerbaijan's water resources. "Currently, we are clarifying the value of the damaged inventory to amelioration and irrigation systems in the liberated areas.
There are nine reservoirs, 1,429 subartesian wells, 88 pumping stations, and more than 8,000 hydraulic structures in the liberated territories. Our main task is to eliminate the damage and implement infrastructure projects. We will restore the departments of irrigation systems in those territories.
