Regular bus routes to Karabakh to open from January 15

The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport plans to open regular bus routes to Karabakh from January 15, Report informs referring to the agency.

Buses will move from Baku, Ahmadbayli village of Fuzuli district (along the Victory Road) and from Fuzuli International Airport to Shusha city, as well as from Baku to Aghdam city.

For this purpose, an open tender has been announced for the selection of carriers. The tender participation fee is 50 manats. Applicants must submit an application until December 27 and provide basic documents, including information about the vehicles on their balance sheet until January 6.

“When choosing carriers, preference will be given to the availability of comfortable buses with the best environmental characteristics. At the initial stage, routes to Karabakh will be carried out twice a week. If transportation is profitable, the number of trips can be increased,” AYNA said.
