Starting from mid-2025, the settlement process can be implemented in the city of Aghdam and its villages, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region (except Shusha district), Emin Huseynov, told journalists, Report informs.
“There is a lot of work to be done in Aghdam. Today, large-scale construction work is underway there. The foundations of 3 settlements have already been laid. Work has already started in two settlements. After that, 3 more settlements will be designed and the foundation will be laid soon. All this construction work will be started at the beginning of next year. Starting from mid-2025, we can carry out settlement in the city of Aghdam and its surrounding villages,” he said.
