36.2 km of roads will be restored, and 17.6 km of new roads will be built in Shusha, chairman of the State Town-Building and Architecture Committee Anar Guliyev wrote on Facebook.
According to him, functional zoning of the city was carried out as part of the work on the General Plan. Based on this, proposals have been prepared to upgrade the transport infrastructure, categorize streets and organize public transport:
"When preparing the General Plan of Shusha, the city's historical grandeur is taken into account, and all new projects are based on the unity of history and modernity. The new residential area, founded by the President yesterday, is inspired by the architectural heritage of Shusha and designed under the traditional urban environment," he said.
