In January-April 2025, 1,824 passenger cars were produced in Azerbaijan, or 876 units (92.4%) more than in the corresponding months of 2024, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
As of May 1, the country had 138 finished product stocks.
During the mentioned period, machinery and equipment, automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers worth 205.8 million manats ($121.1 million) were produced in Azerbaijan. Compared to the corresponding period of 2024, the production of machinery and equipment increased by 26.6%, and the production of automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers decreased by 3.9%.
In January-April 2025, 199 tractors were produced in Azerbaijan, 14.6% less than in the first 4 months of 2024. As of May, the country had 10 finished product stocks.
Also, in the four months of this year, 33 trucks were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 87% less than the figure for January-April 2024. As a result, as of May 1 this year, the country had a stock of 13 finished products.
